I am a wife, mother, grandmother and educator. In March of 2013 I enrolled with doTERRA in order to get oils to help my youngest daughter with respiratory issues. Our family was impressed with how quickly and effectively they worked for her. In honesty I thought they were probably a one hit wonder. Fast forward to June of the same year. I ended up in the ICU for 10 days fighting for my life. The oils popped into my head and I began asking anyone and everyone what they knew about oils. Fortunately the medical staff gave me the go ahead to use oils but cautioned they needed to be pure, safe and from a reputable company. They warned me about buying at chain stores. One suggested doTERRA by name! When I left the hospital I was on 30 different medications, sleeping 18-20 hours a day with a pretty dismal outlook. When I was awake I researched oils for my health concerns. Some helped. Some did not. It was trial and error finding the correct combination of oils and supplements to support my body's healing process. Over the next 6 months, with doctor's approval, I was able to stop many of the prescriptions. My test results improved. I was able to return to work teaching school and resumed all activities. I had NO intention of selling oils. That was not in the plans but friends and family were amazed at my progress and wanted to know what and how I used. (Many felt I would remain bedridden for the remainder of my life.) That is how my business began. Today I am part of doTERRA's leadership team and consistently rank in the top 5% of enrollers. I provide hope to those that feel hopeless. I am not in this for a fast buck, instead I am wanting to help others find what works for them wether it is seasonal threats, emotional issues or medical concerns they would like oils to support.
